Checking into a hotel, setting the stage for a series of events.

I couldn't keep from making a living hell

Acknowledging personal responsibility for creating a difficult situation.

I took off my jewellery and rented a movie

Removing personal adornments and engaging in a mundane activity.

Then I tried to call you cause something confused me

Attempting to contact someone due to confusion or uncertainty.

I went for a walk to find some blood

Embarking on a walk with a self-deprecating perspective.

With a blinder's eyes on my miserable mug

Expressing a sense of misery or unhappiness.


Breaking locks, and getting shocked

Engaging in destructive behavior ("Breaking locks") and facing consequences ("getting shocked").

No one should ever hold me up

Rejecting the idea of being held accountable by others.

I've been too awful to ever be thoughtful
