Despite this, we find ourselves gradually declining or deteriorating.
Self image we're anchoring
We anchor our self-image to a particular perception.
To the Kool-Aid we drink
We adhere to a particular set of beliefs or trends without questioning them (reference to "drinking the Kool-Aid").
Don't need inspiration for songs that we'll never sing
We don't need external motivation for creating songs that we will never actually perform or express.
Wasted potential in all of our suffering
We waste our potential through enduring hardship without gaining anything significant.
We make bad decisions, not making amends
We consistently make poor choices and fail to reconcile or make amends.
Fake with precision, we're not making friends
We present ourselves as fake with great accuracy, hindering the formation of genuine friendships.
And ironically there's no apology
