Believing that this was the closest one could get to God.

That was as close as we could get

But here I am

I did not expect this Child to be so heavy

Yahweh in the flesh, all the weight of glory

Acknowledging Jesus as Yahweh in the flesh, bearing the weight of glory.

How could you contain the One who knows no limit

Reflecting on the paradox of containing the limitless One in a tiny baby.

In this tiny babe, the hope of all creation

Recognizing the infant Jesus as the hope of all creation.
