When I'm laid to my rest

And the world will be better for this
The belief that the world will improve because of the quest.
That one man scorned and covered with scars
Recognition that enduring hardships leaves a lasting impact.
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To persist with the utmost courage until the very end.
