Lyrics

Watching shadows dancing on the wall

Observing shadows moving on the wall

Painting you and me before the fall

Imagining a depiction of 'you and me' before a decline

Time and fate have left me in this place

Feeling trapped in a specific situation due to time and fate

And reality is in my face

Facing the harshness of reality

Is this it? And just how will I know?

Questioning the current state and uncertainty about recognizing it

Hiding under a blanket of snow

Seeking refuge or hiding under a metaphorical 'blanket of snow'

When tomorrow is another day

Anticipating a new day (tomorrow) with hope

With bright colours over skies of grey

Expecting positive change and vibrant experiences in the future

Somewhere high above the timber line

Contemplating possibilities beyond the usual limitations

Must be some way I can redefine

Searching for a way to redefine the current circumstances

In this atmosphere of discontent

Being surrounded by discontent in the environment

Leaving all of this without torment

Leaving behind difficulties without emotional torment

Break the shackles that have kept me down

Breaking free from restraining forces or constraints

Feel the fresh air, have to leave this town

Feeling the need to depart and experience a change

Moving further out, with both arms spread

Continuing the journey with open arms, embracing change

Ever higher up the steps ahead

Moving upward with determination and optimism

Here comes the wave in

Expressing the arrival of a transformative force ('wave in')

Let the water even everything

Allowing the wave to bring balance and renewal

When the morning comes

Expecting a positive shift when morning arrives

All this you'll find behind you

Leaving the past behind as a new day begins

Whispering to me

Receiving messages from nature, represented by wind and birds

Is the wind that blows, and birds that sing?

Questioning the significance of natural elements

Dry your tears

Encouraging someone to overcome sadness

It's just something we must go through

Acknowledging difficulties as a necessary part of life

Out with the old and in with the new

Embracing change by letting go of the old

This is something that we have to do

Recognizing the necessity of embracing the new

Through the storm, I travel in the night

Enduring challenges during the metaphorical storm of life

Find my comfort come the morning light

Finding solace and comfort in the light of a new day

Somewhere high above the timber line

Reiterating the theme of seeking new perspectives
