I possess a song that I can now sing.
I'm happy as can be

Since Jesus took me by the hand
Since Jesus guided me, I have been liberated from bondage.
From bondage rescued me
Jesus rescued me from a state of captivity or oppression.
I'm way, up high
I am at a high elevation.
On the mountain top
I am on the summit of a mountain.
And I've His name extole
I praise and honor His name.
No eye can see, no tounge can tell
No one can witness or describe the joy within me.
The joy that's in my soul
There is an indescribable joy in my soul.
My riches here are very few
I possess very few material riches in this world.
No earthly wealth have I
I lack earthly wealth.
Before me waits a mansion fair
A beautiful mansion awaits me in a location beyond the sky.
Somewhere beyond the sky
There is a heavenly dwelling place prepared for me.
The joybells ring the whole day long
The joyous bells ring continuously throughout the day.
There's nothing now to dread
There is nothing to fear or worry about now.
I'm pressing on, come go with me
I am moving forward, and I invite others to join me on this journey.
