And I had nothing left to fear
Seeing this figure, I felt a sense of safety and had no more fears.
Party saviour of the year
The majestic figure on the refrigerator became the hero of the party, saving the day.
There was a cat at the party!
I discovered there was a cat at the party.
We talked of whens and hows he never left me on my own
I engaged in conversation with the cat, discussing past experiences and moments when the cat didn't leave me alone.
I saved his life once when a drunk guy almost sat on him
I narrate an incident where I saved the cat's life from a drunk person about to sit on it.
And as the night wore on you know he never left my side
Throughout the night, the cat remained by my side, providing companionship.
So neither one of us would ever have to hide
Both of us avoided hiding, ensuring a continuous presence together.
And finally my friends arrive
Finally, my friends arrived at the party.
I turn to introduce him
I attempted to introduce the cat to my friends.
But he's already moved on to find
Before I could introduce the cat, it had already moved on to interact with another socially awkward person.
The next awkward person delighted to find
The cat continued its mission to engage with and comfort socially awkward individuals.
There was a cat at the party!
