This Cave
Nature's Embrace: A Solitary Journey by Beats Me SELyrics
It startled my mind when I first saw this cave
Feeling surprised or shocked by the initial sight of the cave
As you know I can stay here and live by the sea
Expressing a desire to live near the sea within the cave
For now and so on
Indicating the continuation of this desire into the future
I think I can live on fish that I catch
Belief in sustaining life by catching fish and gathering berries from nearby woods
And berries I find in the woods right behind
Referencing the availability of food sources in the nearby forest
And then I remember the softness of your skin
Recollection of the sensation of a loved one's skin contrasted with feelings of isolation
The loneliness comes over me again
Emotional experience of loneliness returning
So I wouldn't think of the pleasures in town
Choosing not to dwell on city pleasures due to their incomparability with life in solitude
It can not be matched with a life way out here
Stating that the allure of city life doesn't match the simplicity of living in seclusion
Therefore I hide myself back in this cave
Returning to the cave as a refuge despite missing the natural beauty of summer
There's nothing like the nature when summer is here
Appreciating nature's beauty during the summer season
And then I remember the softness of your skin
Recalling the tactile memory of a loved one's skin leading to a sense of loneliness
The loneliness comes over me again
Re-experiencing feelings of isolation and solitude
But again then it's hard to compare the life I have
Acknowledging the difficulty of comparing current secluded life with past urban life
With the one I had before this life
Highlighting the contrast between the present and previous way of living
Don't know if I can worry myself
Expressing uncertainty about managing concerns and navigating the chosen path
And then guide myself on the path that I chose
Questioning the ability to guide oneself along the chosen life path
Path that I chose
Reiteration of the chosen life path's importance
Then don't you think about the way it was
Encouraging oneself not to reminisce about the past way of life
It was
Repetition emphasizing the avoidance of dwelling on the past and its way of life
It was
-Don't you know the way it was
-The way
-It was
-The way
-It was
