It startled my mind when I first saw this cave

Feeling surprised or shocked by the initial sight of the cave

As you know I can stay here and live by the sea

I think I can live on fish that I catch

So I wouldn't think of the pleasures in town

Choosing not to dwell on city pleasures due to their incomparability with life in solitude

It can not be matched with a life way out here

Stating that the allure of city life doesn't match the simplicity of living in seclusion


Therefore I hide myself back in this cave

Returning to the cave as a refuge despite missing the natural beauty of summer

There's nothing like the nature when summer is here

Appreciating nature's beauty during the summer season


And then I remember the softness of your skin

Recalling the tactile memory of a loved one's skin leading to a sense of loneliness

The loneliness comes over me again

Re-experiencing feelings of isolation and solitude


But again then it's hard to compare the life I have

Acknowledging the difficulty of comparing current secluded life with past urban life

With the one I had before this life

Highlighting the contrast between the present and previous way of living


Don't know if I can worry myself

Expressing uncertainty about managing concerns and navigating the chosen path

And then guide myself on the path that I chose

Questioning the ability to guide oneself along the chosen life path

Path that I chose

Reiteration of the chosen life path's importance


Then don't you think about the way it was

Encouraging oneself not to reminisce about the past way of life
