Jubilee
Jubilee's Message: Uniting in Faith, Breaking ChainsLyrics
The light of eventide now shines the darkness to dispel,
The light of evening now shines to dispel the darkness.
The glories of fair Zion’s state ten thousand voices tell;
Many voices speak of the glories of Zion's state.
For out of Babel God doth call His scattered saints in one,
God is calling His scattered saints from Babel (symbolic of confusion) to unite.
Together all one church compose, the body of His Son.
All believers together form one church, the body of Christ.

Refrain: Expressing the theme of the song.
O church of God, the day of jubilee
The church of God experiences a jubilant time.
Has dawned so bright and glorious for thee;
A bright and glorious day has begun for the church.
Rejoice, be glad! Thy Shepherd has begun
Encouragement to rejoice as the Shepherd gathers the divided flock.
His long-divided flock again to gather into one.
The Shepherd is uniting the divided followers into one.
The Bible is our rule of faith, and Christ alone is Lord,
The Bible is the ultimate guide for faith, and Christ is the sole authority.
All we are equal in His sight when we obey His word;
All individuals are considered equal in Christ when they follow His teachings.
No earthly master do we know, to man-rule will not bow,
There is no human master; they don’t submit to human-made rules but pledge loyalty to each other and God.
But to each other and to God eternal trueness vow.
A commitment to eternal faithfulness to one another and God.
Oh, blessed truth that broke our bands! In it we now rejoice,
The truth has freed them from bondage, bringing them joy.
While in the holy church of God we hear our Savior’s voice;
Within the church, they hear and follow the voice of the Savior.
And gladly to His blessed will submissive we shall be,
They joyfully submit to God's will and commit to being obedient.
And from the yokes of Babel’s lords from henceforth we are free.
They are now free from the influence of earthly powers or systems.
