I stole the outside runnin' into the sun

I ventured beyond my comfort zone, running towards the sun.

I 'm alive, loud as a golden gun,

I feel alive, vibrant like a powerful force.

I killed my pride So once again

I let go of my ego or self-importance.

I'd see Live and learn fallen one thousand times

To gain experience, I faced challenges repeatedly.


I feel the burn

I experience a sensation of burning, possibly from intense emotions.

There's fire from a crazy sky,

There is chaos or intensity in the atmosphere.

I sealed concern

I suppressed my worries or fears.

So once again I'd be

Reiterating the willingness to face challenges again.


It lifts you up it puts you down.

Life has the power to uplift and bring down individuals.

Then it feeds you life, then it lets you drown.

Life provides sustenance but can also lead to despair.

While it holds your heart then it slowly tears you apart

While it nurtures your heart, it can also cause emotional pain.

And ya know life is what I mean.

Life is the essence of what is being referred to.


If I could, ya know I'd stand on the rock

If possible, the desire to stand strong and resolute like a rock.

Where Jesus stood, innocence and evil bad and good

A reference to a place of significance, with contrasts of innocence and evil.

Walkin'side by side

Walking alongside contrasting forces, possibly the complexities of life.

We got a way of makin' up our minds

We have a way of making decisions.


How could I run just leave it all behind

Questioning the ability to leave everything behind.

When it breaks me up inside still I

Despite internal struggles, there is a refusal to conceal true feelings.

Refuse to hide and it is just what it is

Acceptance of the situation for what it is.

And that's all right

Acknowledging and being content with the current state of affairs.
