It was an unrealistic dream of how I thought love would make me feel.
But nothing real
However, it lacked substance and authenticity.
Suddenly
Suddenly, a shift occurred.
My vague imaginings went spinning round
My vague ideas about love started swirling around.
You turned my expectations upside down
You defied my expectations and turned them upside down.
So very different but so hard to shake
Despite being very different, your impact is challenging to ignore.

With you, I feel fully alive and conscious.
And as we try and learn to fly
As we navigate challenges and try to excel,
You quiet my confusion
