I'll be there
I am committed to being present for you.
To pick you up at seven in the morning
I will be there to pick you up early in the morning.
Don't be late
It's important that you are not tardy.
I'll sense you when you come
I will sense your arrival.
This is ludicrous to some
Some may find this situation absurd or inconceivable.
Because you're gone
You are no longer physically present.
But I do not believe that we are done
I don't believe our relationship is over.
So I'll be there
I will continue to be there for you.
To pick you up at seven in the morning
Reiteration of the commitment to pick up in the morning.
To greet the sun
To welcome the morning sun together.
And join you in the light
To be with you in brightness and positivity.
And even though you're out of sight
Even though you are physically absent, I feel your presence.
I can see you when I close my eyes
I can envision you in my mind's eye when I close my eyes.
You'll be there
You will reciprocate the act of being there in the morning.
To pick me up at seven in the morning
To offer support and companionship.
To hold my hand
To hold hands and share intimacy.
And tell me what I know
To communicate familiar truths.
That you'll forgive me if I go
You will forgive me if I choose my own path.
My own way
Expressing independence and individuality.
And that we will meet again someday
Belief in a future reunion despite current separation.
