Lyrics
I followed the shapes on the sea with my eyes
I observed the shapes on the sea with my eyes.
The sea and the air started reaching around
The sea and the air began to surround or envelop.
It was almost as if they were planning to merge
There was a sense that the sea and air were preparing to merge.
It comes close to me now
Something is approaching me.
It's a sight to behold
It is a remarkable and impressive sight.
Feet sliding down
My feet are sliding downward.
From the hill to the edge of the shore
Descending from the hill to the shoreline.
The wind has a wave twisting up to the sky
The wind forms a wave that spirals upward into the sky.
And it's inching its way to the mouth of the bay
It moves slowly toward the entrance of the bay.
Then it finally rides up the edge of the shore
Eventually, it ascends along the edge of the shore.
It comes close to me now
Something is approaching me again.
It's a sight to behold
It is a remarkable and impressive sight, once more.
Its force throws me down
Its force knocks me down.
From the hill to the edge of the shore
From the hill, I tumble down to the edge of the shore.
It all whirls, front to back
Everything is in a state of swirling, from front to back.
Debris flies left and right
Debris is flying in both left and right directions.
On the waterspouts it trails
Trails are left on the waterspouts.
It has me running 'round
I find myself running in circles.
Right back up the mound
Returning right back up the mound or hill.
But as I turn I see everything's pristine
Upon turning, I realize everything appears pristine and untouched.
