Seeking forgiveness for all the wrongdoings committed.

Reiteration of the plea for salvation from evil.

Repetition of the need for deliverance from self-destructive behavior.

Restating the desire to be liberated from the current lifestyle.

We poisoned the world
We have contaminated the world with the bloodshed in battles.
With the blood we shed on the battlefileld
Acknowledging the loss of any sense of humanity, kindness, and morality.
We're losing any sense
We are losing touch with compassion and ethical behavior.
Of kindness and morality
Some individuals refuse to live in this destructive manner.
And some of us don't want to live this way
Recognition that life is a precious gift.
And some of us know life's a gift
Some people choose to pray, possibly seeking guidance or redemption.
And they start to pray
Acknowledgment of the value of life and the initiation of prayer.
