Lyrics

Deep within a state

Expressing a profound internal condition or emotion

Beyond the known

Transcending the familiar or recognized

Asleep or awake

Whether in a state of sleep or wakefulness

Out here all alone

Isolated and without companionship

As the world passes by

Observing the continuous flow of life around

For I'm living in a dream

Living in a state of imagination or unreality

The way it must be

Conforming to a necessary or expected condition

I'm trying to make it real

Striving to bring imagination into reality

Searching for a scheme

Seeking a plan or strategy

And the world passes by

Observing life passing by, inducing emotional response

It makes me want to cry

Eliciting a desire to weep

But once in awhile

Occasionally, a person with a positive presence appears

Someone appears

Someone emerges from the passing world

With a loving smile

With an affectionate and warm expression

And a heart full of cheer

And a heart full of happiness

And the world passes by

Life continues to pass by, but indifference prevails

And I don't even care

The passing world is disregarded

And our souls take flight

Souls experience liberation and ascendancy

Soaring in the sky

Soaring and gliding through the sky

Swimming in the light

Immersed in brilliance and enlightenment

And feeling so high

Feeling elevated and euphoric

Then I'm back in my state

Returning to the initial internal state

All on my own

Once again, in solitary existence

Could this be my fate

Contemplating if this is predetermined destiny

Out here all alone

Isolated and without companionship, as before

And the world passes by

Observing life's continuous progression with acceptance

And that's all right with me

Finding contentment in the world's passage

As the world just passes by

Acceptance of the world's continuous flow

It's all so plain to see

The clarity of this perspective is evident
