Blurting out the first thing that comes to mind
Expressing thoughts without filtering or considering consequences.
Dressed in wisdom when we fear what we don't understand
Presenting oneself as knowledgeable when faced with the unknown out of fear.
Cos lately the truth is hard to find
Recently, the truth has become elusive or hard to discern.
But ignorance leads to consequence
Emphasizing that ignorance leads to negative outcomes.
So we're clinging to the hopes that clarity can be still be found
Seeking hope that clarity can still be discovered amid confusion.
And it's safe to say that the logic is anything but sound
Acknowledging that the reasoning may be flawed or illogical.
But still we move irrespective of faulty points of perspective
Continuing to progress despite having faulty perspectives.
And every step is determined as nothing more than subjective
Every step is seen as subjective, lacking objective certainty.
And I'm learning now our senses have been confined
Realizing that our senses are limited or restricted.
And despite our intentions we are all but blind
Despite good intentions, acknowledging our collective blindness.
But if there's one thing that we share
Identifying a commonality among individuals.
Abundantly
Highlighting the abundance of a particular trait or characteristic.
Is the certainty of the lies we cannot bear
Shared certainty in facing unbearable lies.
Avoiding the obvious fact that we're stuck in way over our heads
Avoiding the acknowledgment of being overwhelmed or out of depth.
Exploiting oblivious eyes that we already know are misled
Exploiting the ignorance of others knowingly.
Cos it comes back to haunt us and always reminds us to take heed of all that we've said
Consequences return to remind us of our words and actions.
Burning bridges I just can't envisage how we return from this
Expressing difficulty in foreseeing the possibility of reconciliation.
And it's counterproductive to say that we're out of this mess
Rejecting the notion of being completely free from the mess or problem.
And I wish I could get to the point oh but I digress
Expressing a desire to reach a point but getting sidetracked.
Burning out's the last thing that comes to mind
Contrasting with the common expectation, burnout is not the primary concern.
We're complacent to the things that we don't understand
Being indifferent or passive to things that are not understood.
But they linger never far behind
Unresolved issues persist closely despite being ignored.
The consequence of our ignorance
Highlighting the negative outcome resulting from ignorance.
