Planning to express emotions through writing or fighting metaphorically.

Now I know that I want to keep us

Realizing a desire to keep a connection intact.

She just wants to go and kill us

Another person's intention to end or destroy the connection.

Tears just fall right down and wash the pain

Tears falling again to wash away emotional pain.

Wash the pain

Reiteration of tears possibly being the cause of emotional relief.

Or is that just the rain?
