I have hungered for Your righteousness

I have tried to walk the line
I've tried to maintain a righteous path.
I drew between Your heart and mine
I created a boundary between Your heart and mine but failed to stay on course.
But You forgive me every time the mark is missed
You forgive me every time I fall short of the mark.
So take my broken offering and make it whole
I offer my broken self to You, asking for restoration.
And set my feet upon the road that leads me home
Guide me on the path that leads me back to You.
Let me walk as one fixed upon the goal
Help me walk with determination toward my spiritual goal.

I have sought Your grace in my defense

I pray for Your protection of my soul as I reap what I've sown.

I want to sow goodness and love from the abundance of Your grace.
From Your great love
All of this stems from Your immense love.
As I struggle for Your hand
In my struggles, I reach for Your guidance.
You use me in ways I can't understand
You use me in ways beyond my understanding as I strive for You.
You take this sinful man and renew me
You renew and transform this sinful person, working through me.

Your divine influence is evident in my life.
