Lyrics
I know sometimes this world leaves you in dismay
I acknowledge that at times, the challenges of the world may leave you feeling disheartened.
I wrote this song to help you get through the day, yeah
I created this song with the intention of providing support to help you navigate through difficult days.
When it seems like no-one cares,
During moments when it seems like nobody cares,
when the assholes stop and stare,
Especially when encountering negativity from others,
Keep your head to the sky
Keep a positive outlook and look towards the sky.
Every year gets more complex
The complexity of each passing year increases,
Evolution might be dead
Suggesting that the concept of evolution might be losing its significance,
But you’re gonna survive
Nevertheless, you will endure and survive.
I’m ready at any point to scream and shout
Expressing readiness to vocalize frustration and distress,
We’re losing the light i think it’s running out
The acknowledgment that time is running out, and we are losing light,
But we can always find our loved ones in the dark
Despite the challenges, finding solace in the presence of loved ones in the darkness.
No matter how bad things might sound
Regardless of how dire circumstances may appear,
I got my friends we’re gonna make it out
Confidence in overcoming challenges with the support of friends.
And when we love each other we will be okay-
Emphasizing that love and unity will lead to eventual well-being.
Even if it’s not much better than that
Even if the situation doesn't significantly improve,
Even if it’s not much better than that, no
Acknowledging that the improvement might be limited,
Even if it doesn't get better than that
Accepting that things may not get substantially better,
Even if it's not much better than that, no
Recognizing that the improvement might be modest,
There’s no way i’d be sane if i was in this alone
Highlighting the importance of companionship to maintain sanity,
When every day’s the same it’s still a rush to get home
Even in the monotony of daily life, the anticipation of returning home brings excitement,
And i’ve been telling friends i’ll always pick up the phone,
Commitment to being there for friends and always answering the phone when called,
If you call me up
Especially in times of need.
There’s no way i’d be sane if i was in this alone
Reiteration of the significance of companionship for maintaining mental well-being,
When every day’s the same it’s still a rush to get home
Despite the repetitiveness of daily life, the eagerness to return home persists,
And i’ve been telling friends i’ll always pick up the phone,
Continued commitment to being available for friends and answering the phone,
If you call me up
Reassurance of being there for friends when they reach out.
