I fixed the races

Cause I'm riddled with doubt.

And ripped the pages out
Destroying or removing parts of a narrative or history, indicating a willingness to erase or forget certain aspects.
So I could bring them
Preserving and intending to share the removed elements with a specific person or audience.
To you
Addressing the act of sharing or presenting the preserved elements to someone.
Someday
Expressing a hopeful expectation of delivering the preserved elements in the future.
Baby.
An affectionate term, possibly addressing the person to whom the preserved elements are intended.
They say life is easy
Challenging the notion that life is straightforward or uniform.
And that it’s all the same.
Sarcastically dismissing the idea that everything in life is predictable or the same.
Don’t say that to please me
Rejecting insincere or comforting statements that aim to please but may lead to shame.
And bring me to shame

Falling into a romantic or emotional connection.
In love with
Identifying the object of love.
You till I realize
Realizing the impermanence or loss of the romantic connection.
I'm gone.
Acknowledging the departure or absence from the once-loving relationship.
And I can't see the changes
Expressing difficulty in recognizing or understanding the changes that have occurred.
So I’ve written over the pages.
Covering up or replacing the erased portions, possibly implying an attempt to rewrite or reshape one's history.
