I used to engage in deep reading, but now I focus on surface-level information.

I organize my life into distinct chapters and stories,
Its easier for me to put things in the past
Making it easier for me to move on from the past.

My life is composed of stories and chapters,

But I feel the need to return to the beginning.
I used to think I was the lead
I thought I played the leading role,
Turns out that I'm just a cameo
Yet, I discover I'm just a supporting character.
Its pretty easy to succeed
Success seems achievable when expectations are set low.
When you set the bar so very low

My life is structured in chapters and stories,
Its easier for me to put things in the past
Allowing me to easily leave things behind.

Stories and chapters define my existence,

Yet, there's a desire to return to the origin.
They said it would rain today but the sun shone
Contrary to expectations, the sun shines instead of rain,
And all of my safe harbours are long gone
All my safe and comforting places are no longer available.
I'll never live a life of wisdom and grace
I might not live a wise and graceful life,
But sometimes I just run right back to the chase
Yet, I sometimes find myself returning to the pursuit or challenge.

Life continues to be organized into chapters and stories,
Its easier for me to put things in the past
Making it easier for me to move beyond experiences.

My existence is shaped by stories and chapters,
I need to go back to, back to the start
Yet, there's an inclination to return to the origin or beginning.
