We met in the emergency ward

We stuttered and stopped right there

I struggled to communicate and sleep after parting.

I expressed my belief about life's occurrences.
"I don't think life just happens to you
I shared my perspective that life doesn't just happen to individuals.
More likely in spite of you
I suggested that life happens despite individual intentions or efforts.
It's a marvelous thing"
I conveyed that life is an amazing phenomenon.
