Life is short, and he emphasized living authentically.
"Life is too short, and your almost dead" he said
Highlighting the brevity of life and the urgency to live genuinely.
"I met a woman once, I gave her my best shot"
Recalling a missed romantic opportunity.
"But never did I talk"
Expressing regret for not expressing feelings at the time.
"If I had her back, I'd be as real as my age"
If given a second chance, the speaker would be true to their age.
"I so don't blame them, I wouldn't do the same"
Understanding others' actions without personal condemnation.
"But I can blame them, I'd Sing her this"

You're drowsy without a care
Describing a state of drowsiness without concern.
Except keeping your whites behind your lids
Focusing on keeping one's eyes closed, possibly avoiding reality.
And your lids are your best canvas
The eyelids are portrayed as the best canvas for imagination.
I can only imagine what your painting
Speculating on the creative process happening behind closed eyes.
And your body on my mattress is proof
The presence of someone on the speaker's mattress as evidence.
And your makeup on your pillow is proof
