Salvation Rite
Ecological Elegy: Dawn Ray'd's Salvation Rite Unveils Nature's LamentLyrics
The rivers turn to spite us
The rivers are becoming hostile towards us
By slowly feeding us poison,
Slowly exposing us to harmful substances
The sea spits at us debris
The ocean is rejecting us by throwing back debris
On which its slowly choking.
Which is suffocating the ocean itself
One by one, the beasts and creatures resignedly turn to exit,
Animals are leaving this place one by one, acknowledging the futility of staying
This plain which every second,
This land is losing its value rapidly
Is less worth the fight of saving.
It's becoming less worthwhile to try and preserve it
I wonder if the animals know something's wrong,
Questioning if animals sense something amiss
At least the ones we haven't enslaved.
Especially those not captured or dominated by humans
I wonder if the animals know something's wrong,
Reiterating the doubt about animals' awareness of the environmental changes
Do they think that they are to blame?
Wondering if animals feel guilty for the deteriorating conditions
I wonder if they have stories,
Speculating on whether animals possess stories or narratives
Some beautifully written lore,
Possibly having intricate tales
A tragically useless explanation,
Stories that offer little help in understanding or addressing the crisis
Equal in delusion to the religions of men?
Comparing these tales to the futile beliefs and ideologies of humanity
Liminal:
The start of the insurrection,
Describing the threshold of rebellion or uprising
The inevitable hurtling chaos,
Referring to the inevitable chaotic phase
The slowly dawning realisation,
Slow realization of the intensity of the challenges ahead
Of the ardour that faces us.
Acknowledgment of the passionate struggle awaiting us
Liminal:
The absurdity, the terror,
Describing the transitional phase with absurdity and fear
The reluctant understanding,
Reluctant acceptance of the impending truth
The actions we must make
Recognizing the necessary actions for potential salvation and stopping the chaos
would be deliverance and cessation.
The required steps for deliverance and ending the turmoil
