Wanting them to realize their wrongdoings.

Thoughts of hurting them begin to gestate
Contemplating retaliation against them.
To make them suffer would attempt to placate
Considering causing them suffering to find peace.
Will you cross the line and into the fray
Questioning the moral boundary of revenge.
Once you get there, forever you’ll stay
Fearing that once revenge is taken, there's no turning back.
So, time to choose…live or die
Deciding between survival and perpetuating a lie.
Perpetuate this lie
Choosing to maintain the false appearance despite the situation.
To confront, or to refrain? - cuz you know they’ll always
Debating whether to confront or avoid the issue.

Detailing the emotional and physical damage caused by them.

They perceive you only as a tool for their ends.
Cuz they see you as a means to an end - that’s all, they’ll
Describing extreme harm they inflict without concern.

Portraying a scenario where they cut ties.

They'll exclude you from the situation without remorse.
And the harder you try, the more you know that they don’t care how you feel
Realizing their indifference regardless of one's effort.

Continued suffering due to their mistreatment.

Recognizing oneself as a tool for their exploitation.

They manipulate and exclude you from their dealings.

Being left out of their agreements.
