We wait for the bridegroom's return
Anticipating the return of the bridegroom (Jesus).

Prepared with readiness symbolized by lamps.
We wait like the watchmen on the wall
Waiting diligently, like watchmen on the wall.
For You to come and rescue and save us all
Longing for rescue and salvation.
And You'll forever be our King
Acknowledging Jesus as the eternal King.
With no more pain, no more sorrow death or crying
Envisioning a future without pain, sorrow, death, or crying.
