Religion at its finest being breached,

Monstrous conclusion breaks the surface all too late,
A monstrous outcome surfaces too late, disrupting the norm.
Heaven as they know it out of reach,

People who fear God and are in despair.
Each prayer a human grave,

Armed and content with the battlefield laid out,
Individuals armed and satisfied with a laid-out battlefield.

Administering a harsh and decisive strike.
When darkness is tyrant, never see the light,

Pray tribute to the overlord,
Paying homage or respect to a dominating figure or ruler.

Without God for an extended period, perhaps suggesting atheism.
Fail to evolve while chasing the serpent,
Failing to progress while pursuing a deceptive entity, possibly symbolized by a serpent.
Shallow and ashen the foundation of souls,
The foundation of souls portrayed as shallow and lifeless.
Hollow existence, victimized and scorned.
Existence devoid of substance, marked by victimization and scorn.
