I'm now embracing my own creative expression.
Cutting edge traditionalist
Describing oneself as someone embracing both innovation and tradition.
The cool guy with the biting wit
Portraying oneself as a stylish and clever individual.
But the cool crowd seems way ahead of me
The socially accepted or popular group is more advanced than me.
Or behind me
Feeling ahead or behind the cool crowd's trends.
No matter what people say there's always pressure
Despite opinions, there's always societal pressure.
But I can't be a slave to others ideas
I won't conform to others' ideas, rejecting slavery to societal norms.
I'm going to do what I want to
I will pursue my desires and choices.
Going to play what I want to
I will engage in activities that bring me joy.
So at the end of the day I can look back and laugh
I will reflect on my choices with amusement at the end of the day.
