My three addictions
Reiterating the presence of three addictions.
My first one is to food
First addiction revealed: a problematic relationship with food.
I should eat more things that are good
Acknowledging the need to consume healthier food.
But if it's bad, I'll still eat it
Admitting a tendency to eat even when the food is not good.
You don't even have to reheat it
Emphasizing a lack of discrimination in food choices.
Because it's one of my addictions
Reaffirming the seriousness of the first addiction.
And I've got three

Oh, my addictions are so good to me

My second one is to movies

And most folks say, "Hey, movies is groovy"

But when you're like me, you need that really pure stuff

And they just don't make enough

Everybody has got theirs

My third one is to girls who won't date me

I'm not talking 'bout girls who hate me

They think I'm alright and they're not fakin'
Confirming positive feelings from girls, but hindered by existing relationships.
But they're already taken
Acknowledging the unattainability of these girls due to existing commitments.
You've got a boyfriend? That's cool
Accepting the situation if a girl has a boyfriend.
You've got a girlfriend on the side too
Recognizing that having a boyfriend and a side girlfriend complicates matters.
Well, that's two reasons you won't have me
Identifying reasons why these girls won't be available.
I wish I was more savvy
Expressing a desire for greater awareness to overcome the addictions.
So I could see through my addictions
