Observing celestial bodies and seeking connection, yet remaining watchful for companionship.
But it's only make believe
All these hopes and yearnings, however, exist only as imagination or fantasy.

There's an expectation or hope for someone else to come back into your life.
You may think it's for real, but you know how you feel
Though something might seem genuine externally, internally you are aware of your true emotions.
The places that I go don't feel good anymore
The places you once found comfort or joy now lack their positive appeal.

Seeing beauty amidst change (rainbows in fall) and cherishing someone's image on your wall.
But it's only make believe
However, these aspects exist only in the realm of imagination or illusion.
Fly away, bluebird fly away for me
Expressing a wish for a symbolic bluebird to depart on a journey on behalf of the speaker.
To a place somewhere far across the sea
To a distant location, far away from the current situation or troubles.
Fly away, far away, don't look back, go today
