So I've made my presence known

But never got a second glance
Feeling unnoticed and not receiving the expected attention.

Acceptance of disappointment, acknowledging that everyone lets you down at times.

I left the countryside

On a three hour train ride

But the one I really loved

You know everyone has flaws
Recognition that everyone has imperfections or shortcomings.
And some can be ignored
Distinguishing between flaws that can and cannot be overlooked.
But others are just rooted to the bone
Some flaws are deeply ingrained and inherent.
I know I've hurt someone
Admitting to causing harm to someone during the journey.
On this road that I've been on
Expressing remorse and a commitment to personal growth.
I'm sorry and I promise that I've grown
A promise of change and improvement.
And its alright
