This myth of progress becomes our religion

We acquiesce to our own enslavement
We passively accept our own enslavement or subjugation.
As we drink to our annihilation
We toast to our own destruction or downfall.
We live by lies
We live in a world of falsehoods and deception.
By tyrants disguised
Tyrants exist among us, masquerading as saviors for humanity.
As the savior for all human kind
We've forgotten our true nature as a people, succumbing to manipulation.
Don't cast pearls before swine
We should not waste valuable things on those who cannot appreciate them.
We've forgot what we are
We have lost sight of our true identity as maggots.
