Did you pick out your paint colors yet
Asking if the person has chosen paint colors for their space.
Or are your walls still that ugly red
Expressing distaste for the current color of the walls.
The other day I saw a nice shade of blue
Noticing a beautiful shade of blue and associating it with thoughts of the person.
And I closed my eyes and I thought of you
Imagining the person in connection with the mentioned shade of blue.
Did you ever get that problem fixed on your car
Inquiring about a car issue encountered during a previous encounter.
Cause the last time I saw you it wouldn’t drive very far

So on Saturday nights where do you go now

And talking's all we’ll do
