The small issues or problems will accumulate leading to a collapse
Will add up to collapse
Accumulating problems will ultimately result in a failure or breakdown
Maybe then we can learn
Reflecting on the possibility of learning from the collapse
But all we know is how to take a sin
Only understanding how to reinterpret wrongdoing
And give it a new spin
Turning a sin or mistake into something different
And when the world comes caving in
When the consequences become severe
Then we'll be singing
Responding to the collapse with a song or expression
God, look what we made
Reflecting on the creation with a sense of disbelief or awe
We build it on mistakes
Constructing something substantial based on past errors
Manipulate
Using manipulation to achieve a desirable outcome
'Til something turns out right
Continuously striving until a positive outcome emerges
Will something turn out right
Questioning if the method chosen is correct
If this is the wrong way?
Doubting the chosen path or approach
Let's have a race to the stars
Racing towards ambitious goals or achievements
And right back down
Quickly returning to a familiar or lower level after reaching high aspirations
Too busy aiming for scars
Focusing on self-inflicted wounds rather than progress
To break new ground
Avoiding innovation or new territory due to preoccupation with scars
To everyone who claims
Addressing those who generalize human nature
We're all the same
Asserting that everyone is perceived as identical
It's just the way we're made
Explaining this perception as a result of inherent traits

Offering a rebuttal or alternative perspective
You're gonna get it now
An impending consequence or retribution
So bent you have to break
Being pushed to the point of breaking due to distortion
Can't keep your twisted shape
Unable to maintain a consistent or stable form
Don't you dare close your eyes
A warning not to ignore reality or the truth
You can pray all you like
An acknowledgment of efforts to seek help or guidance
But it won't change a thing singin'
Suggesting that efforts won’t alter the outcome

Seeing the outcome as successful despite its origins in errors
At least that's what we'll claim
Intending to declare success regardless of the actual outcome
This thing we made
Acknowledging that the created thing is built upon past errors
We built it on mistakes
Reiterating that the creation is a product of previous mistakes
