Drifting in and out of phase

Wouldn't take it back for anything
Content with the situation despite its challenges; no regrets about the past.
Then the light would come around
Moments of clarity or understanding in the midst of confusion or uncertainty.
Fading in and fading out
Things appearing and disappearing, possibly referring to emotions or experiences.
Couldn't breathe without it hurting
Difficulty or pain associated with something necessary for survival or functioning.
You wouldn't think twice
Someone acting without hesitation or doubt.
I could see it in your eyes
Recognizing a particular emotion or truth in someone's eyes.
It was so good
The experience was exceptionally positive.
You threw it away
Disposing of or disregarding something valuable or significant.
Now I know that it was fate
