Well, it wasn't two weeks after she got married that

She'd put on dark glasses or long sleeved blouses
She tried to conceal bruises with glasses or clothing.

Well she finally got the nerve to file for divorce

And she let the law take it from there
The legal process began.
But Earl walked right through that restraining order

And put her in intensive care

Right away Mary Anne flew in from Atlanta
Mary Anne rushed from Atlanta to be with Wanda.
On a red eye midnight flight
She supported Wanda as they devised a plan.
She held Wanda's hand as they worked out a plan
Mary Anne and Wanda decided Earl had to die.
And it didn't take 'em long to decide
They formulated a plan quickly.

Decision to eliminate Earl for good.

And it turns out he was a missing person who nobody missed at all

So the girls bought some land and a roadside stand
The girls started a business, moved on with their lives.
