Experiencing a sense of emotional descent or sadness.
No sight of a ledge
Unable to see a clear path forward or solution to a problem.
Yet I’m afraid of falling
Despite the absence of a visible edge, there is a fear of failure or downfall.
Why is it so easy
Questioning why it is easy to feel emotions but challenging to forget them.
To feel and then forget
Noticing the ease with which emotions are felt but difficult to be forgotten.
The pressure to commit
Feeling pressured to make a commitment, combined with fear of making a mistake.
Mixed in with fear of mis-step
Experiencing the pressure to commit along with the fear of taking a wrong step.
Can anybody find me
Expressing a sense of being lost and seeking help or guidance.
Is there even a way out
Questioning the existence of a way out of the challenging situation.
In this labyrinth I’m drowning
Feeling overwhelmed in a complex and confusing situation (labyrinth).
Between my fear and all my doubt
Caught between the emotions of fear and uncertainty.
The silence is deafening
Describing a profound silence and the proliferation of falsehoods.
And the lies are seeding
Noticing the growth of lies or deception in the environment.
I try to look back
Attempting to look back, but the illumination is diminishing.
But the light is fading
Struggling to find clarity as the light fades away.
You say search and then you’ll find me
Being told to search, with the promise of being found, implying hope.
It’s a promise that you’ll keep
An assurance that the promise of being found will be kept.
But it's hard to gauge the timing
Difficulty in determining the timing between taking action and having faith.
Between my action and belief
Struggling with the relationship between actions and beliefs.
Into the darkness the unknown the valley I’ll race
Facing challenges in unknown territories, embracing risk and uncertainty.
Knowing gifting and timing and efforts won’t waste
Believing that gifts, timing, and efforts will not be in vain.
Tho shadows keep rising I’ll stand here in faith
Standing firm in faith despite the emergence of shadows.
You won’t be far, God You won’t be far, God
Expressing confidence in the proximity of a higher power (God).
Still waters, green pastures, all given in grace
Describing a state of peace and abundance, emphasizing grace.
My cup overflows it’s all over the place
Feeling overwhelmed by blessings, symbolized by an overflowing cup.
For the sake of Your name on this path I will wait
Waiting on a path for the sake of a higher purpose or belief.
You won’t be far, God You won’t be far, God
Confident in the proximity of God even in moments of waiting.
The Shepherd came and found me
Experiencing a positive encounter, feeling found and secure.
There’s no need for a way out
Acknowledging that there is no need to find a way out in this situation.
In this quiet field I’m thriving
Thriving in a tranquil environment, free from fear and doubt.
Freed from my fear and all my doubt
Embracing freedom from fear and doubt in a serene setting.
You’ve prepared a table for me
Recognizing the preparation of positive experiences or opportunities.
You’re all I want and all I need
Expressing a desire for a particular presence as the ultimate fulfillment.
