The sounds behind these walls
The noises within the walls intensify.
Have been growing more intense
The unsettling sounds have been increasing in strength.
As if filled with rats and insects
Imagined as if filled with disturbing creatures.
I know they will come, consume me upon my last breath
I anticipate that these disturbances will engulf me in death.
My last breath
Reflecting on the inevitability of death.
I know they will consume me upon my last breath
Reiterating the expectation of being consumed in death.
The apparitions

Acceptance of the current unavoidable destiny.
My limbs are frail and useless
Physical body is weakened and ineffective.
My mouth is dry and toothless
