As if it's wrong to take a step out of line
Acting as if deviating from the norm is inherently wrong.
Don't say you're wasting time
Don't assert that I am wasting my time.

We all have things that divert our attention.
But if I can rest, then I'll be fine
If I can find a moment of rest, then everything will be okay.
We'll find ourselves on the detours detours
We'll discover ourselves during these unexpected journeys or diversions.

I sense you are testing my ability to remain patient.

Feeling down and confined in a lower place (physically or emotionally), possibly a metaphorical basement.
Feel the buzz on my tongue I'm sedated
I feel a numbing sensation, as if I'm sedated or detached.
I feel kinda weird in the nighttime
I experience an unusual or uncomfortable feeling during the nighttime.
Know I need company in my life
I recognize the need for companionship in my life.
But I can feel memories taking my time
Memories from the past are consuming my time.
Trying to find a little piece in the sunlight
Attempting to find solace or contentment in the sunlight.
Not really saying what I mean but it's alright
I might not express myself clearly, but it's acceptable or okay.
