Sometimes I have a flash of rationality
Sometimes, I experience moments of clear thinking and reason.
But most times I do just what I'm gone do
However, most of the time, I act according to my own inclinations and decisions.
It's easy for me to see what I already see
I find it effortless to recognize what I already know or believe.

I don't have time for inconvenient or uncomfortable truths.
I'm just a man I ain't no machine
Despite being human, I'm not a flawless or unfeeling entity.
I do the math the way it suits me
I analyze situations in a way that aligns with my preferences.
Don't get me wrong you're making some sense
Your points make sense, but I may not fully agree.
But I'll think I'll go before I'm convinced
I might leave before being completely persuaded or convinced.
Sometimes I start to think I might be pretty smart
There are times when I consider myself intelligent.
Then I up and meet somebody who really is
However, I encounter individuals who are genuinely intelligent.
I put a lotta books in my cart but I usually don't have the heart
I accumulate many books, but I often lose interest if I think I understand the main idea.
To keep on reading if I think I got the gist
If I believe I comprehend the essence, I tend to stop reading.
I know just enough about enough stuff
I have sufficient knowledge in various areas to nod along in conversations.
To nod when you bring something up
I tend to speak confidently about topics even if my knowledge is limited.
Talking out of my ass is my M.O
Expressing opinions without solid knowledge is my modus operandi.
I'm trying to learn to say I don't know
I'm attempting to improve by acknowledging when I don't know something.
Sometimes I have a flash of rationality

Yet, most of the time, I act based on my own decisions and inclinations.
It's easy for me to see what I already see
It's effortless for me to recognize what aligns with my existing beliefs.
