I let the water run and ran away today
I left the water running and left my responsibilities behind today.
I conjured up a spark and I was on my way
I ignited a passion within myself and embarked on a journey.
On down another road and through another town
I'm traveling down a different path, entering another town.
Full speed ahead, got some demons to chase down, yeah
Speeding ahead, determined to confront and overcome personal challenges or inner struggles.
And all my friends seem to have taken up the part
My friends have chosen a conventional, settled life with typical suburban imagery.

Contrasting with the traditional lifestyle, marked by white picket fences.
I'll miss the good old days to death but I ain't looking back no more
Nostalgia for the past but resolute in not dwelling on it.
Still so much I've gotta see
There's much more to explore and experience in life.

Embarking on a new journey.
And holding onto myself as I go
Self-reflection and preservation while navigating challenges.
Though the nights are getting so cold
Despite facing difficulties, my essence remains transcendent.
My soul is in the stars
Feeling a connection with celestial elements and contemplating existential purpose.

Seeking clarity about one's purpose and existence.
I think of all the things I never thought I'd say
Reflecting on unexpected life experiences and revelations.

Acknowledging unexplored opportunities and challenges ahead.
Sometimes you've got to go get lost to be found
Embracing the idea that sometimes getting lost is necessary for self-discovery.
Surrender to the winds, yeah I'm rolling with the clouds
Choosing to surrender to the unknown, flowing with life's uncertainties.

Continuing on a new path with self-preservation.

Enduring the challenges of the journey.

So I'm on my way like I'm the king
Moving forward with confidence, as if ruling the world.
Of all the sky and all the things
Embracing the vastness and beauty of the sky and life.
I lost my mind but I'm learning to sing
Overcoming mental challenges and finding one's voice.

Soaring above challenges with a liberated spirit.
