Feeling old and I don’t wanna keep score
Feeling aged and not wanting to keep track of achievements or failures.
It seems most times like I should go
Often feeling like it might be better to leave or move on.
Easier for us out on the road
Choosing a nomadic or transient lifestyle is easier for both individuals.
Yeah I’m not gonna be your crack in the dam
Declaring the refusal to be a temporary solution or relief.
As much as I will flood the land
Expressing the intention to bring about significant change or impact.
Always asking where you been and where you goin’
Continuously questioning the whereabouts and future plans.
Then you gotta stop and think awhile
Encouraging the need to pause and reflect on one's actions.
