Symbolizing the end or a significant moment
When the organ calls
Reference to a solemn musical instrument
When the sky is fading into red
Describing a transition, possibly sunset
And the bells all toll
Symbol of mourning or passage
For those who go
Departure or journey
Many miles on ahead
Long distance ahead
In that evening light
Set in a specific time, twilight
By the riverside
Location by a significant body of water
As the water rises up its song
Water expressing itself (metaphorically)
Well, no sparrows fly
Absence of life or activity
When the lilies cry
Implies sorrow or grief from nature
Soon the stones shall join along
Everything eventually joins or converges
Oh, to glimpse those shores
Desire to see something unreachable
Oh, to fear no more
Yearning for release from fear
Oh, to see behind the veil
Desire for revelation or truth
For the night must come
Acknowledging the inevitability of darkness
But through it gleams the sun
Hope amidst darkness
May your light shine on as well
Wishing for one's light to continue shining
And now as you go
Separation and departure
Into the unknown
Stepping into uncertainty
And I am left to cry out in the air
Expressing emotional distress or longing
Well, my voice will strain
Struggling to communicate
Underneath the weight
Feeling the burden of hope
Of my hope to find you there
Wishing to find someone in an unknown place
Oh, to glimpse those shores
Repetition of longing for unreachable shores
Oh, to fear no more
Continued desire to overcome fear
Oh, to see behind the veil
Repeated desire for truth or revelation
For the night must come
