Raising doubts about the authenticity of trust amid prosperity.

Questioning the depth of faith when tested in adversity.

Despite God's reign, the impact of death and decay is felt.

It's clear for the next one when all's been set right

Recognizing clarity about peace in the afterlife.

But I'm still in the darkness awaiting the light

Existing in darkness, anticipating the arrival of light.

And I know I should hope, but sometimes I'm just tired

Admitting weariness while holding onto hope.

And yes I've been blessed just to breathe air at all

Gratitude for the gift of life, acknowledging blessings.

You've given much more and I'm grateful beyond

Thankfulness for the abundance received from the divine.

All the words that escape me in the midst of this loss
