We're all hopin', we're all hopeless
We all have hopes, but at times, we feel without hope.
We're all thorns and we're all roses
We all have positive and negative aspects, likened to thorns and roses.
We're all lookin' down our noses at ourselves
We often judge ourselves critically, looking down on our own flaws.
We're all flawed and we're all perfect
Each of us possesses imperfections and virtues simultaneously.
We're all lost and we're all hurtin'
We experience moments of being lost and hurt, seeking love to heal.
And just searchin' for somebody to love
In our journey, we yearn to find someone to love and connect with.
We're all liars, we're all legends
We all engage in falsehoods and build our own legendary stories.
We're all tens, I'd want elevens
We aspire for greatness, reaching for a level beyond perfection.
We're all tryin' to get to heaven, but not today
While aiming for spiritual fulfillment, we delay the pursuit for it.
We're all happy, we're all hatin'
Despite moments of happiness, we also harbor feelings of hatred.
We're all patiently impatient
We exhibit a paradox of patience and impatience as we await love.
And just waitin' for somebody to love
Waiting for someone special to love is a common human experience.
We're all good, but we ain't angels
We all possess goodness, but none of us are perfect like angels.
We all sin, but we ain't devils
We commit sins but are not entirely evil like devils.
We're all pots and we're all kettles
We criticize others (pots) while being flawed ourselves (kettles).
But we can't see it in ourselves
Our self-awareness is limited; we often fail to recognize our flaws.
We're all livin' 'til we're dyin'
We live our lives until we face mortality.
We ain't cool, but man, we're tryin'
We may not be perceived as cool, but we strive to improve ourselves.
Just thinkin' we'll be fixed by someone else
We mistakenly believe that someone else can fix our problems.
We all wrangle with religion
We grapple with questions of faith and spirituality.
We all talk, but we don't listen
Communication issues arise; we speak but often fail to listen.
We're all starvin' for attention then we'll run
We crave attention, even if only temporary, and then withdraw.
We're all paper, we're all scissors
We engage in internal conflicts, akin to the game of rock-paper-scissors.
We're all fightin' with our mirrors
We battle with self-image, fearing a lack of love and acceptance.
Scared we'll never find somebody to love
There's a pervasive fear of never finding someone to love.
We're all good, but we ain't angels
We all have goodness within, yet we are not angelic in our actions.
We all sin, but we ain't devils
We commit sins but fall short of being truly devilish.
We're all pots and we're all kettles

Overcomplicate the simple
We tend to complicate straightforward matters.
We're all little kids just looking for love
At our core, we are all seeking love, reminiscent of children.
Yeah, don't we all just want somebody to love?
The universal desire for love is a common thread among all individuals.
