Like those dreams are somehow real
Yearning for dreams to feel more tangible or genuine.
When I awaken to a bright and early morning
Waking up to a promising early morning.
The promise of the day
Emphasizing the potential of the day ahead.
Is the dream of life on it's way
Associating the day with the dream of life.
And the love from yesterday's dream
Recalling the love from a past dream.
Still keeps my company
The lingering presence of past love.
That piece of time you shared with me
Highlighting a special shared moment in time.
Lights me up for all to see
Feeling illuminated and visible to others.
But then the dream gets all confused by too many stories
Confusion arising in the dream due to multiple narratives.
To really be free

Can't stop this train on which I'm bound

Still keeps my company
