I find it hard to turn away, a billion starving people,

I struggle to ignore the plight of a billion starving people.


But what can one do, I've heard you say - you can't save someone's life

Despite the enormity of the issue, it feels helpless, like one individual can't single-handedly save lives.


I want to save a life today, I want to get someone close with my Father.

I wish to make a difference by bringing someone closer to my religious beliefs.


Be them the bread of life today, I want to help them get stronger, help them last longer

I aim to provide sustenance, strength, and longevity to those in need.


And give them a chance to see Jesus.

Offering an opportunity for those suffering to encounter the teachings of Jesus.


I find it hard to just ignore, the murdered unborn children,

I can't simply disregard the tragedy of unborn children being killed.


Yes times have changed, but still God warns, you shall not take a life.

Despite changes in society, the sanctity of life remains important as decreed by God.


I want to save a life today, I want to keep one alive for my Father,

I desire to save a life and preserve it in service of my religious beliefs.


Who will avenge the blood!

An inquiry into who will seek justice for the innocent lives lost.


Of weak and helpless ones someday - whose lives are spilled out like water,

An acknowledgment of the tragedy faced by the vulnerable, whose lives are taken without regard.


Lambs in the slaughter, and each one is handmade by Jesus.

Recognizing the victims as creations of Jesus, highlighting their worth.


I find it hard to turn away, a billion starving people, a billion starving people.

Reiteration of the difficulty in turning a blind eye to the suffering of a billion starving people.
