There can be but better ways from yesterdays to me
Reflecting on the possibility of better ways to approach life compared to past experiences.
Somewhere there are better days for better ways to be
Anticipating the existence of better days that offer improved ways of living.
Sunny days have funny ways of quieting the roar
Noting the unpredictable nature of sunny days in calming turbulent situations.
Is it still a blessed thing to live and live some more
Questioning the value of continued existence and whether living more is still considered a blessing.
And I'm left with the truth and I'm right in my mind
Acknowledging a personal understanding of the truth and a sense of mental correctness.
Given some of the time maybe never
Considering the possibility that some things may never happen despite the passage of time.
So I walk in these shoes
Expressing the act of walking in one's own shoes, symbolizing personal experiences and challenges.
When I feel it's the blues
Turning to these shoes (experiences) when feeling down or facing hardships, akin to the blues.
If it ain't it will do, yeah
Accepting that if something isn't ideal, it is still acceptable or sufficient.
I woke up early one morning

Like I'd been under a spell
Comparing the awakening to being under a spell, suggesting a realization or revelation.
Gazed into the mirrored reflection
Looking at one's own reflection in a mirror, possibly symbolizing self-awareness and introspection.
Said I had to do it or else
Feeling a sense of obligation or necessity to take certain actions.
And I'm left with the truth and I'm right in my mind
Reiterating a personal connection to the truth and mental clarity.
Given some of the time maybe never
Acknowledging the uncertainty of certain outcomes despite the passage of time.
So I walk in these shoes
Continuing to walk in one's own shoes, facing and embracing personal experiences.
When I feel it's the blues
Turning to personal experiences when feeling the blues or encountering challenges.
If it ain't it will do, yeah
Accepting that even if a situation isn't ideal, it is sufficient or acceptable.
Things are through
Suggesting the end or conclusion of certain things.
