Did I catch a glimpse of light
Reflecting on a moment when there might have been a glimmer of the person's true self.
Of the person that I knew
Longing for a return to the familiar characteristics of the person that the speaker once knew.
Just to understand the reasons
Expressing a desire to comprehend the motives or circumstances behind the person's actions.
I would go, where you've gone to
Indicating a willingness to follow the person and understand their experiences.
But please give me just one sign
Pleading for a sign or indication from the person to confirm their identity.
So I know it's still you
Seeking assurance that the essence of the person is still present despite the changes.
