And i might call him a homestayer
Referring to him as a "homestayer" due to his post-actions state.
For its what he is in the aftermath of what he's done
Emphasizes his current state as a consequence of his past actions.
And i might say he's too insecure
Highlighting his insecurity about his identity.
About who he is, and you can't deny he's got to learn
Recognizing the need for him to learn and grow.
Trapped inside his hellish little abode
Describing his confined and unpleasant living space.
Homestayer des crafts a plastic key
Creating a symbolic plastic key but facing immediate failure.
Too bad it breaks in an instant
Expressing disappointment as the crafted key breaks.
Under the weight of his own guilt
The weight of guilt prevents his escape attempts.
Of trying to get out in the first place
Regret for attempting to leave in the first place.
And you might tell him, the homestayer
Advising him that he is more than his physical surroundings.
"You're so much more than your four walls", and you are right
Acknowledging the truth in the advice, but he remains oblivious.
But he doesn't hear you, twists the door knob
Despite advice, he attempts to open the door, facing obstacles.
But no use, its locked, screams silently
Struggling to open the locked door, silently expressing frustration.
"Why am i anything?"
Questioning his existence and purpose.
And then you opened the door from the other side
A third-party intervenes, providing an opportunity for change.
